This is my first digital painting, completed entirely in Photoshop. It is inspired by the INCREDIBLE video game Bioshock. I have been planning a painting based on that game since I finished playing it nearly a year ago. I can't believe it took this long to come to fruition...

Thanks guys! Yeah, I can look at this one and see where my Photoshop skills have improved, though in some ways this one is still better than some I am producing now. I think there is a beginner's luck factor at work! lol! I agree DeadShooter999, some darker shading would snap the image, however, I leave mu paintings alone once finished, so they serve as litmus tests of my skill level at the time they were created. Kinda fun, and instructive, to go back and look at the body of work as a whole. I would love to do more Bioshock or Bioshock 2 related art, as the games are still my faves. Perhaps one day soon...

I do say, I'm very impressed with the textures that is seen here. Loving the whole contrast of it all. Although some darker shading would be nice, it will somehow make things look more alive and natural. Overall quite a solid piece.
